Ukraine International Airlines (abbreviation: UIA) is a Ukraine based service stationed at Boryspil International Airport. Capital Investment Project LLC is the parent company with 74% interest. A fleet size of 41 is bound to 86 destinations across the globe. It operates over 1000 flights per week. Founding investors in the project in 1992 were GPA and Ukrainian Association of Civil Aviation. Austrian Swissair and Austrian Airlines had their stakes in the company by injecting USD 9 million as equity in 1996. Cargo Operations were started in Nov 1994 using Boeing 737-200 to Amsterdam and London while current consignment carrier is Boeing 737-300F. Current ownership is divided between Capital Investment and Cyprus-based Ontobet Promotions Ltd. with 74.1627% and 15.9108% shares respectively.
