GoAir owned by Jehangir Wadia is an intercity Airline in the India. Wadia Group owned by Wadia family is the parent company. The services commenced in November 2005 with a flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on Nov 4, 2005. Jehangir Wadia, son of Nusli Wadia is the founder of the airline and Wolfgang Prock-Schauer (hired in 2016) is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the privately owned service. News about British Airways’ interest in buying GoAir surfaced in Jan 2009. Talks without any breakthrough were brokered between SpiceJet and the company about amalgamation in November 2009. Go Business is a premium service and Go-getter is the in-flight magazine issued by GoAir.
