British Airways Baggage Allowance – International & Domestic

Below you can see British Airways Baggage Restrictions for both international and domestic flights including extra baggage fee, allowance for executive & Oneworld membership and prohibited items as well. According to checked baggage policy, the total number of bags, their weight, size is checked and shuffled according to customer flight cabin and his flyer member status before going to aircraft hold. The checked bag can be up to 90 x 75 x 43 cm including handle and wheels.

Note:

Customers with basic tickets are only allowed to carry one hand baggage, on carrying extra baggage will be charged. If you are with children less than 11, the customer can check in for one fully stroller and one car seat for free.

British Airways Carry-on Baggage Allowance for executive and Oneworld member


British Airways Baggage Restrictions for Oneworld MembersThe extra allowances apply for two reasons:

1) If traveling customer qualify for flyer while on the booking

2) If only traveling trough British Airways Flights except for basic fare and group rate bookings.

Status:  Executive Club Gold/Oneworld Emerald  

Allowance Permission:  One additional free checked bag of 32kg (70lb) per checked bag

Status: Executive Club Silver/Oneworld Sapphire    

Allowance Permission: One additional free checked bag but max. two bags per person (excl. hand baggage only (Basic) fares) with a weight allowance of 32kg (70lb) per checked bag.

Traveling with Medical equipment:

On British airways there is no limit for weight limits or overweight charges to the customers traveling with some medical equipment whereas there is some advice list that needs to be followed before boarding:

The customer should keep their travel insurance and medical escort for their own safety.

Few Passenger needs Medical Clearance before traveling if they have:

1: any recent illness, hospitalization, injury or surgery

2: existing unstable medical condition

3: need for additional oxygen or use of medical equipment on board

4: traveling for medical reasons or treatment
